cvs gnus?

cvs gnus?

Ah, where should I be getting cvs gnus from now?  I wanted to make new
(hopefully better) diffs for MFT support, but the cvs repo has
disappeared (?) out from underneath me.

I know quimby was moving, but was cvs.gnus.org hosted from there, or
is it just busted?

I checked gnus out from us.cvs.gnus.org (as linked from quimby's main
page currently) and it looks like it's a month old code (last
lisp/ChangeLog entry is from september...)

and...the cvs.gnus.org server tells me this when I do anything (but
login, which works fine, I guess):

Fatal error, aborting.
cvs: no such user

sorry for (the (large)) amount (of) parenthetical expressions... :P

well, maybe that's fixed, but something else is broken now? (for me)

Thanks, Lars.  Still waiting for the cvs.gnu.org name to point to the
right address, but the rest works nicely now.

Use quimby.gnus.org, at least temporarily.

You can edit the CVS/Root files (all of them) so you don't have to
checkout a new copy.

cvs.gnus.org == 195.204.10.66

I made this change yesterday, but it may take a bit longer for your
DNS cache to catch up.

Probably related, the log message does not appear on gnus.cvslog.

Apropos, how about making the commiter (even just the cvs account
name) appear as the sender for the log message in that group?  It
would be more useful than seeing "CVS" as the sender for everything.

It would also be nice if the subject line didn't put all the important
information in (), as Gnus will ignore () when threading.
