Hi!

I'm having Gnus put a copy of all messages I've written to
`nnmh:sent.(mail|news).YYYY-MM'. When I enter one of these ego
archive groups, the sender information is rather useless for me
(most of the time I know my name without looking it up), but it
would be very valuable to see the receiver of the message (either
"To:" or "Newsgroups:") instead.

Pine handles this very well, BTW.

I think what I need is to set gnus-summary-line-format depending
on the group name (I can do that), but as there is no %field for
the sender (and the sender isn't included in the vector passed to
gnus-user-format-function-X) I'd have to extract the "To:" or
"Newsgroup:" header of the message on my own (I tried, but I can't
do that).

Is there anyone out there with a piece of lisp code which does
what I want? I think it involves gnus-fetch-fields and I suspect
it will be awfully slow, because every message has to be opened
while generating the summary - correct?

I doubt it, but this is on the todo list.

It would be useful if the todo list had some kind of scores to mark
what's easy to implement, what's cool&fun to implement, what actually
*will* get implemented in the near future, etc.

I'm asking this because there are entries in the todo list that are
ages old.

Well... Everything will probably actually be implemented at some
stage. If I find the time. Doing some sort of ranking would be too
much work, though.

Why don't you put it on the todo list? ;-)
