This should have gone to ding@ifi, where the color battles are fought

They did.  Try it, and you'll see that the colors are not the same on
a light background.

They are not unreadable on my monitor.  But I don't think I like them,
either. :-(

This has nothing to do with colors.

It works correctly for me.  If I put a space before `Subject:', it's
no longer fontified.
