Inspired by some comments Lars made a few months ago on using CVS I decided to
write a small utility (called xcommit) that does the following:
xcommit uses CVS to commit any changes to a group of files to a
central repository. Unlike CVS, it will use separate log files
for each file that needs to be committed. By default, it appends
.chg to the full name of the file to obtain the logfile
corresponding to this file. It will then call
cvs COMMIT -F file.chg file
to commit the file.
If this sounds useful to you too, you can download it at
http://www.xs4all.nl/~jhh/software.html
Enjoy,
Jaap-Henk
