There's a function called `gnus-uu-mark-all' which marks all articles
in a newsgroup for future decoding. What is the corresponding
function to mark all *unread* articles in a newsgroup for future
decoding?
This needs to be invoked as part of a batch process with no manual
intervention.
Thanks in advance.

You can limit the summary buffer to all unread articles first, with / m.
