Subject: `**' status indicator in *topics* buffer and `g' -vs- `M-g'
Date: 18 Sep 1997 22:20:58 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <m2raalkhfp.fsf@altair.xemacs.org> (raw)
I'm not sure whether this is a stupid question, a bug, or me being a
dumb blonde.
(After hitting `s' for save in the *topics* buffer, ie. assuming Gnus
thinks the *topics* buffer doesn't need saving) hitting `g' to reread
all groups does not change the `--/**' buffer modified indicator on
the mode-line. Hitting M-g on top of a group does change it. I've
observed this behavior long enough for it to be a feature, but I've
never been able to make any sense in the logic of it.
