I thought I remembered seeing a thread quite a ways back down the road
where something had been done to make it possible to post to a foreign
group with C-u C-cC-c ( or something else) when in nndrafts group.

Is this just wishful imagining or is there a way to do that now?

When in the nndraft drafts group? Hm... I don't quite recall. Does
that work at all?

Err no, hence my question. Of course the normal posting key stokes
do work (C-c C-c) after editing or whatever. The 'D s' method doesn't
work for me if it is a foreign group.

What are you doing to post to foreign newsgroups from the drafts
group?

I'm asking how to post to a foreign group, after saving the message to
nndrafts:drafts.

An example is this reply.

I saved it with C-x C-s to nndraft:drafts

Now in nndrafts:drafts I've pressed `D e' and added this line.
Attempted to end edits with C-c C-s. Here is the error message:

Sending...
441 No valid newsgroups in "emacs.ding"
Couldn't send message via news: 441 No valid newsgroups in "emacs.ding"

.....I've now pressed `g' and reentered nndrafts group pressed `D e'
and added the following line.

I thought I remebered there being a way to post to a foreign group
from nndrafts. Possibly something recent.

Trying C-u C-c C-c now
Error message:
Sending...
No such function: nndraft-request-post

I've now returned to Foreign group buffer and posted this in the
normal way `C-u C-c C-c'

Can one post to foreign group via nndraft:drafts?

TYPO ALERT: Should say C-c C-c above

I was just wondering, because I don't think there's any way to do
that. :-)

The code should be written, of course.
