When I'm reading:

the news:// link is buttonized, and I can middle-click on it to get the
article in question. However, it would be nicer if gnus realized that the
news:// link points to the server & group I'm _currently_ reading, and just
fetch the article into the current summary buffer, no?

Well, in general it's kinda tricky to determine whether two servers
are the same, so it's safer (and easier :-) to just do it that way --
open a new window and stuff.
