Gnus v5.6.13 is released

[BUG] Re: Gnus v5.6.13 is released

I found this bug in Gnus 5.6.13.  This happens whenever I enter my nnfolder
or nntp groups.  I am using XEmacs-20.4.  5.6.9 doesn't seem to have this
problem.

That reminds me of a long-standing complaint of mine: there oughtta be
a way (say, with an option to the configure script) to tell Gnus where
it can find custom if you're building it on GNU Emacs 19.34.

Oh, and while I'm at it, here's a quick warning: 5.6.13 broke
gnus-build-sparse-threads.

Hi,

I've reported this before but the problem remains.

The configure script doesn't work properly. "make install" installs to 
/share/emacs/site-lisp rather than /usr/local/share/emacs/site-lisp.

One can get around this by using "make prefix=/usr/local install" but
this defeats one of the points of using configure.

Also I would like to have the Gnus installation directory change
depending on whether Emacs or XEmacs is
used. 

/usr/local/share/emacs/site-lisp for Emacs and
/usr/local/share/xemacs/site-lisp for XEmacs.

Perhaps something like lispdir = $(prefix)/share/$(emacs)/site-lisp
could be used with "emacs" being set depending on the use of X/Emacs.
