I tried to use "gnus-article-treat-html" on an article with a
HTML-only message, but it didn't work. This is what I get:

Loading w3-parse...
Loading w3-parse...done
Parsed 100% of 62...done
No buffer named [0 Re: Fish Tacos (was Re: _The Dilbert Future_) <text/html>]

I use Gnus v5.4.50 in Emacs 19.34 and w3 version 3.0.86.

It still doesn't seem to work "out of the box" in 19.34 and 5.4.56 yet
either. And with more of these goober HTML mail messages flying around,
it's really becoming necessary.

(Does someone have it working, and how?)

Not really. I misunderstood the w3 interface. Gnus 5.4.57 might have
a working version of that command.

That would be great. :-) Right now I don't bother reading HTML-posts
at all.

This is of course the right thing to do in any case, as people
shouldn't bother posting HTML-posts at all.

The HTML washing (W h) in Gnus 5.4.61 still doesn't work.

I am using TM and since Netscape (or other HTML mailers) sends its mails
with the "Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii" header , TM treats the
mail content as text/html part. It then can be viewed using TM.

But if I turn off MIME (W m), the raw html content shows up in the article
buffer. Then I do (W h), W3 seems to be doing something but the article
buffer didn't change except that all html tags become lower case.
