Is there a way to get something like this using Gnus' MML?

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii;
 name="foo.mbx"

All the parts inserted by C-c C-a get inserted without a name. (It'd
be great if the 'name' field would default to the basename of the
#part's filename attribute.)

If not, MML is here to stay, and nobody beats me to it, I'll implement
this.

I'd also like to be able to specify content-disposition, and
content-description, and... And all in an easy-to-use way! :-)

No, but MML should be able to do absolutely all the MIME things, like
disposition, name, filename, content-transfer-encoding, etc. But I
haven't implemented that yet.

That sounds reasonable, I think.
