Gnus silently dropping mail if `nnmail-split-methods' set to nil

Hi!

Michael Teichgraeber reported¹ that setting `nnmail-split-methods' to
nil sucks all your mail from your mail sources and silently drops
them.

I can confirm this.  ~/.nnmail-cache contains a line with the message
ID of the dropped message but no target folder.  I know that Gnus is
designed to easily shoot yourself in the foot but I think that it
doesn't need to be that simple.  Maybe the IncomingXXX files should be
used, regardless of `mail-source-delete-incoming' in that case?

I think nnmail-split-fancy puts mail in the bogus group -- maybe that
would be an acceptable alternative.

Yup.  Fix in Oort Gnus v0.04 (i. e., CVS).
