I started with a fresh ~/.newsrc.eld and now I've this server:

     {nndir:edu} (denied)

I can neither open it nor kill it alltogether.  The only way to get rid
of it seems to be editing ~/.newsrc.eld.

Please, do not a features that might confuse innocent users like me ;)

Yes -- it's just a list of all servers that Gnus knows about.  If you
have it in your .newsrc.eld, Gnus will list it.  Not all servers can
be edited or killed, though.
