Hi,
i tried to embed a mailto URL according to RFC 2368 in an email. When
pressing return on the mailto URL Gnus composes a new empty mail.
When using <mailto:foo@bar.de> it works perfect. Now i tried to embed
a name, but i cannot figure out the correct syntax.
<mailto:"Foo%20Bar"%20foo@bar.de>
<mailto:"Foo%20Bar"%20<foo@bar.de>>
In both cases the final ">" is taken over in the "From:"-line of the
newly composed mail.
I am not sure whether the error is in my mailto URL or in Gnus. Any
idea?

Angle brackets (and also ") are not allowed within an URI, see RFC 2396,
Section 2.4.3.
