I just upgraded from 0.42 to 0.52, and I love mml.
Is it possible to hook up C-c C-f so that it sets up a mime-ready
buffer with a message/rfc852 part?

Yes, but I think we should wait a smidgen until we know that we want
to keep the current MIME approach before we start extending all the
other commands to use the new interface.
