I'm running gnus from git, at

  commit 803573beb3b5a5a1ee4ded1593659d9e26766897

      Decode entities before prefetching images.

I noticed that I know have gcc: to a per-month sent folder.  I am
surprised that this is the default since I didn't ask for it, but that's
not important.

I have found gnus connection to my local dovecot hanging up and then
being reopened quite often.  I found this in the log after sending a
message.

      (setq nnimap-need-unselect-to-notice-new-mail t)

I don't know what that means, really.  What are the commands in *imap
log* that triggers this?

This variable is no longer used by nnimap.
