Hello
I am trying to configure oort gnus 0.06 for picons.
I am not able to trace the variable gnus-picons-piconsearch-url in the
gnus-picon.el or anywhere else. C-hv also does not show any help for
the variable.
gnus.info tells me to set the same variable in .gnus.
What am I missing??

Unfortunately the section about picons in the manual is mostly
obsolete.
To use picons you have to download the picons archive, install it
locally and set `gnus-picon-databases' accordingly, e.g.
(setq gnus-picon-databases '("/home/harder/picons"))
