to-address being ignored?

to-address being ignored?

Not too long ago I noticed that the to-address group parameter
stopped working for followups, but only followups (f|F) and only in
that group.  Posting with 'a' still causes to-address to be used.
Composing followups in other folders (such as this one) also works.
Even looked in the .newsrc.eld and can't see anything peculiar about
this group.

What else should I check?

I'm confused: it works for followups, but not for followups?

Okay, followups work fine fir this group

 nnimap+inbox:lists.ding

as well as

 nnimap+inbox:Shared_Folders.archive.postfix-users

However, when I'm in

 nnimap+inbox:Shared_Folders.archive.info-cyrus

a followup insists in addressing the mail to the user instead of to
the value of to-address.  All three of these have to-address defined
in the group parameters.  I checked the message headers of the posts
I was attempting to followup and didn't see anything that seemed to
stick out.

I'll fiddle with this some more later.

Mail-Followup-To trumps to-address.  Do these messages have MFT set?

Try this, I had this in my old .emacs. I guess I should really fix the
problem in mail-lib instead.  The file in question below would be
mail-lib/mail-utils.el.

;; Make me able to follow up in "info-" mailing lists in xemacsen

(setq rmail-default-dont-reply-to-names nil)
