I don't have a checkout of emacs, but I suppose I could work up a
patch, if that's what you're looking for. However, the rmail.el
code is exactly the same, search on 'bogus' :)
Seems to me that the xxx-unix-mail-delimiter should simply ignore
everything between the timestamp and the end of line, and also it
doesn't seem to be able to recognize RFC822 military time zones
like 23:59:59 Z, but OTOH it's been in place all these years....
