I can read utf-8 mails in cvs gnus with Mule-UCS-0.84 without
difficulties.

I want to write utf-8 mails. How can I do that?

When I write a mail with Korean and Japanese in my current gnus
configuration, gnus is going to send it after separating it into many
parts each of which contains only one character set.

(prefer-coding-system 'utf-8)

(In Emacs 21.) Or at least, so I'm told by some people who use it.
Note that this will affect all Emacs buffers, but the sooner the
transition to UTF-8 is done, the better. :-)
