Web site revision

[Lars Magne Ingebrigtsen]

www.gnus.org isn't up yet, but I've done some preliminary HTML
fiddling.  The results can be viewed at
<URL:http://www.ifi.uio.no/~larsi/www.gnus.org/>.  Comments,
suggestions and critique is welcome, as always.  

There should be more...  stuff there, I think.  Like, you know, text.
Or something.

Looks good to me.  Excellent, in fact.  BTW, the (X)Emacs URLs are
*not* http://www.emacs.com.  For XEmacs you probably want
http://www.xemacs.com/.

BTW, the illustrated manuals are missing.

emacs.com is unspeakable evil.  The registrants of that domain name
surely face eternal damnation.

xemacs.com is Bob Weiner & InfoDock or Altrasoft as I guess it's
called now.  You probably want (ftp|www).xemacs.org for XEmacs.

Ungh!  Of course, that's what I meant.  I was so shocked thinking of
www.emacs.com that I forgot.  Sorry.

I believe content is the word you are looking for.

Don't worry about it, that is outdated on the web.  Instead, use the
page to show off your html programming skills by using as many
undocumented features from the latest Netscape and and IE beta
releases as possible. 

Also, you should as more different colors and fonts.  Overwrite the
browser defaults wherever possible, remember it is your pages, so you
should decide what they should look like.  Be sure to use fonts that
are only available in with the Windows 97 betas, your readers should
be rewarded for keeping up with the leading edge of technology.
