`S k' kill the group, but `F' (`gnus-group-find-new-groups') revives the
group again.  Is this the desired behavior?

The group stays killed if I issue `s' (`gnus-group-save-newsrc').

That certainly sounds like a bug.  Does this happen with native or
non-native groups?

Thanks for considering this problem.

It happened with regular nnml groups.  And the sad story is that even
`gnus-group-save-newsrc' doesn't kill them.  For now I moved these
insidious groups to an own topic "obsolete".
