Unread articles in newsgroups

Hi,

I have this weird thing with four newsgroups that show an enormous number of
unread articles whenever I start gnus with M-x gnus. However, when I try to
enter one of the groups, gnus says `No unread news'. I catchup all four groups
and when getting new news via `g' everything seems fine. That is, gnus does
not pretend that there are unread articles in that group. Bug or feature?

Ok, thanks to Karl Kleinpaste, who figured out that it's a problem with our
news server, I can say that gnus is not the culprit. karl++
