Q- How can I set emacs?
when using Alt M . (visit-tags-table)

is:
visit tags table: (Default TAGS) ~/srpc1p/src/srp/
would like to be under:
HP-UX hppcb24 A.09.05 A 9000/735 2014859764 two-user license
visit tags table: (Default TAGS) ~/sj/pcb/iwas/tags/srpc1p.em

Emacs uses the current working directory when asking for the TAGS
file.  You can visit a file in the ~/sj/pcb/iwas/tags/srpc1p.em
directory to change the prompt, or you can use M-x cd RET to change
the directory.

All of this has nothing to do with Gnus -- why did you post it to the
Gnus mailing list?
