When I start Gnus, or after hitting `g' or `l', Gnus shows me groups
with unread or ticked messages. I would like Gnus to also show me
groups with dormant messages.

I think that ShengHuo did some magic which would allow me to do this,
but what was it?

Ah. I found `A p ?'. I've tried to follow the logic for
gnus-group-list-plus which wasn't easy. I see that hitting `A p ?'
means that the function bound to `A ?' is called, with some magic.

What is that magic, so that I can put it in
gnus-after-getting-new-news-hook?
