Hi --

Can anyone think of a convenient way to rearrange article numbers in
an nnml group?

For some reason (some odd respooling exercise, I suppose) some of the
articles in an nnml group have acquired article numbers out of
sequence with the date received. C-c C-s C-d sorts them properly, but
a subsequent B r respools them by article number, not by the displayed
Summary buffer order.

Alternatively, is there as yet a built-in mechanism for defining
sort-function by group?

I think when you process-mark articles and then do something with
them, the `doing' is being done in the order of applying process
marks. Therefore, sorting the summary by date, then #-ing all
articles, then respooling should work. If it doesn't, you could move
them to a tmp group, then move them back. That should work.
