I think Gnus is supposed to check whether I have added any text to a
quoted message. This doesn't seem to happen, though. I created a
reply and even deleted the `kai' line and my signature -- no warning
from Gnus.
Hm.
Ah, from looking at the source it appears that it computes a
checksum. But I use Trivial Cite, and that does filling on the cited
text, so the checksum probably changes. Could this be it?
Hm.
But isn't there also a check which looks if the new text is below the
cited text? This test at least should have failed, no?
