With recent CVS Gnus, if in Group buffer I do G w,
then choose google,
and for search string I type emacs,

I get an error:

Opening nnweb server on y0l3d0p6jo3.fsf-ephemeral...done
No matching articles

the backtrace I get is:

Signaling: (error "Couldn't request group: No matching articles")
signal(error ("Couldn't request group: No matching articles"))
error("Couldn't request group: %s" "No matching articles")
  gnus-group-read-ephemeral-group("y0l3d0p6jo3.fsf" (nnweb "y0l3d0p6jo3.fsf" (nnweb-search "emacs") (nnweb-type google) (nnweb-ephemeral-p t)) t (#<buffer *Group*> . group))
  gnus-group-make-web-group(nil)
  call-interactively(gnus-group-make-web-group)

Is this a known issue? I have w3 in my system, for example the
following was in the output of ./configure:

checking for acceptable URL version... (cached) ~/site-lisp
checking for acceptable W3 version... (cached) ~/site-lisp

Thanks,

Rafael

Well, not really. What I want to do is to make nnweb work. All four
choices (altavista, google, dejanews, reference) after G w in Group
buffer lead to errors.

Did you try it? Maybe the output from the remote site depends on the
browser version. So by telling nnweb to pretend to be another
browser, it might get different output.
