I get the following error "symbol function void gnus-decode-rfc-1522"
when trying to enter a group using pgnus 0.30.

I have tm loaded in my .emacs with (load mime-setup).

I have no problems with my setup using gnus 5.6.43.

Any ideas?

*That* is the problem; gnus-mime.el initialises gnus-parse-headers-hook
with '(gnus-set-summary-default-charset gnus-decode-rfc1522). The
latter is obsoleted beginning with pgnus 0.28 or so.

The solution is to remove all tm support; the main idea after all is
to provide native MIME support in Gnus.

Hi !

Sure .. disabling all tm mime support, but how do you *compose* mime
messages then ? Unless I have missed something... That part would be
nice too :-)

Well, it's still in the process of being implemented. Lars is doing a
great job, but he's only been at it for a week or two. Be patient.
Or implement the composing stuff yourself and send it to Lars :-)

I know that :-)) and wouldn't have to do it myself ! I have just
played somewhat with tm trying to keep the editor mode stuff alive
while using pgnus ... but does not seem to be a good idea.

Dunno if the editing part of tm can be used without the reading part.
Well, you might want to get mime.el (this is an old version of the tm
editing stuff which can be used standalone) or mime-compose.el. Don't
know if these work, though.
