I'm running up-to-date Oort. I sit in a topic-enabled *Group* buffer
with text cursor sitting in column 1, beside any arbitrary topic.
`M-g'
Nothing. No change to *Group*. Not even to show groups with zero
messages.
Move out of column 1. `M-g' again.
*poof* Lots of groups are now shown.
What's magical about column 1?
