(I have tried to subsribe to this list without success... I am not truing to
post directly in this newsgroup... I am not sure it will work).

I have been using quassia gnus (the agent part) for a while and now want to use
the categories facility. The first think which comes to my mind is: why not
just use the already available score files (SCORE and ADAPT) that I have built
over the past few years? They perfectly reflect what I want to read or not and
therefore what I want to download and what I do not want. Defining global more
general categories for a number of newsgroup may sound like a good idea, but I
think existing score file are closer to what the reader really want to see. I
know that categories also proovide scoring, but I think it would be a pain to
create one category for each newsgroup and and then include the score/adapt
files in it

What I usually want is to retrieve all the articles from a *thread* which total
score is above a given limit (0 could be the default).

Gnus boys and girls? what do you think of this idea?
