Have had this problem on and off, but, since updating to Oort 0.05
it's been a lot more on :-(

I have some posting styles, and one of the rules is set up:

(setq gnus-posting-styles
      '((".*"
         (rule set for default here))
        ("groupname1"
         (rule set for groupname1 here))
	(header "to" "domain.*org"
         (list-of-attributes))))

Now, this works - when I enter a group that matches a group rule, I
get that groups style. When I reply to someone with a domain.org
address I get this rules style.

Problem is - after the first time this "header" rule is applied - it
is always applied to all outgoing messages regardless of group,
address etc. I have to restart gnus to get posting-styles working
again.

This is _only_ happening with the "header" rule.

A little irritating :-(

Ideas anyone?

I've had a look over the code, and I can't really see anything odd
about how `header' is used as opposed to the other rule types.

	       ((eq match 'header)
		(and (gnus-buffer-live-p gnus-article-copy)
		     (with-current-buffer gnus-article-copy
		       (let ((header (message-fetch-field (pop style))))
			 (and header
			      (string-match (pop style) header))))))

The only way I could guess that this fails is if `gnus-article-copy'
were to permanently contain the headers of the first article you
responded to, which seems kinda unlikely...

OK. I've just updated to latest cvs - and have tried to repeat the
problem. For now, it seems to be OK again :-), but I'll keep an eye on
it.

Ack - still here. But now, it's become less repeatable. I reckon I'll
just give up on that header rule :-)

I think I saw something on style setting at post time - but I can't
remember enough to find it using search - anyone recall what
function/hook it was?
