I've fiddled with the manual slightly, and the results can be seen at
<URL:http://www.ifi.uio.no/~larsi/sgnus/texi/gnus-manual-a4.ps.gz>
and <URL:http://www.ifi.uio.no/~larsi/sgnus/texi/gnus-manual-standard.ps.gz>.

The first is in the European a4 format, and the latter is LaTeX
"standard" format, which is the US paper size?

It'll probably look nothing like this at all, really. But this is
where all future working sketches will be placed, so you might want to
keep on to those two URLs if you want to keep up with the changing
design.

working in the business section for a company =) i can give you exact
sizes.

standard size for sheets of paper are 8.5 x 11 inches (don't know the
metric off the top of my head), it's a little wider than A4, and it's
length is a little less, i believe.

the "legal" size is 8.5 x 14 (unfortunately most people don't use this when
dealing with computer printers).
