The spam.el package is a part of Gnus. spam-split-group is the
default location for spam; by default it is "spam" and you shouldn't
have to change it. Just make sure you're using nnimap splitting
methods, and that you fix the spam-use-stat variable misspelling.

The rest of your configuration looks OK. The line above should use
spam-use-stat, not what you wrote.
