gnus stopped working

gnus stopped working

My gnus stopped totally working after I added an external nndoc ng. That
may be a coincidence, though, as it worked after I did the addition.
gnus beeps and exits, leaving me with an empty *Group* buffer.

The debugger's output does not help me. Note that there is no such file
as /home/bouillin/News/.newsrc.el. I don't know where I should
investigate.
