Hi
I use gnus primarily as a mail reader so I set following configuration
in my .gnus:
(setq gnus-select-method
'(nnmaildir ""
(directory "/home/kobit/Mail")
(get-new-mail t)
))
(add-to-list 'gnus-secondary-select-methods
'(nntp "news.astercity.net"))
(add-to-list 'gnus-secondary-select-methods
'(nntp "news.gmane.org"))
(add-to-list 'gnus-secondary-select-methods
'(nntp "sunsite.dk"))
And almost everything works as expected apart from one detail with
maildir.
Each time I run gnus all folders found in maildir directory appear with
star at the beginning, for example:
*: nnmaildir:wttools
I can go into each folder and see messages inside (all old marked as
old and read what is ok) and then during this gnus session folder I
visited looks normal:
0: nnmaildir:wttools
But next time I start gnus it is again with star at the beginning.
Anybody has idea what is going on?
emacs version: 21.3.50.2
gnus version: 5.10.2
on Gentoo Linux
Artur
