unable to open big newsgroup

unable to open big newsgroup

Hello together,
I've subscribed to gmane.linux.kernel which looks 
36/0/481945: gmane.linux.kernel <03.02.07>
but i am unable to enter this group. gnus is always fetching more than
10000k but then doesn't enter the group. it just pull up the load. if i
use C-g it will stop and is functional. I've also tried 
1 RET which provided me with 1 article, but then 10 /o will load
forever.
i also tried 
C-u 10 SPACE same.
C-u 10 C-u SPACE same.
so i don't know which else i should do. Any hints?

Maybe you need check variable gnus-large-newsgroup. I suspect it's nil
for you. You can set it to a reasonable value. I use 200.

already set to 150. i also did a G c and also set it there.
