Greetings gnus,

I'm an emacs novice, and am starting to use emacs to interact with CVS.

Is there a way to use emacs to search file revisions for a particular
string?

For example, I want to quickly see if any revision in a given configuration
file ever had a reference to the string "VisitType" without doing
iterative DIFFs, etc.

Thanks very much in advance,
Ryan

This group/list is about the Gnus newsreader, not about Emacs in
general.

For Emacs questions, use gnu.emacs.help aka help-gnu-emacs aka
gmane.emacs.help.

Bye, Reiner.
