About using dash line in markdown file

I'm using LaTeX in a markdown file, and I try to use dash line in a martix, 
but it seems pandoc 3.1.9 can not recognize `:` and `\hdashline`

the Pandoc command is like this: `pandoc --mathml test.md -o test.html`

and the LaTeX code is:

\begin{array}{c|ccc:c}
X/Y & -1    & 0     & 1     &       \\ \hline
-1  & 0.125 & 0.125 & 0.125 & 0.375 \\
0   & 0.125 & 0     & 0.125 & 0.25  \\
1   & 0.125 & 0.125 & 0.125 & 0.375 \\ \hdashline
    & 0.375 & 0.25  & 0.375 & \rho_{XY}
\end{array}
$$

and the error is:

  unexpected ":"
  expecting letter, "|", "*", white space or "}"
  
  unexpected control sequence \hdashline
  expecting "%", "\\label", "\\tag", "\\nonumber", whitespace or 
"\\allowbreak"
```
my expected output is:

what can I do to fix that?

TeX math is parsed by the texmath library (jgm/texmath on GitHub)

You could submit an issue there. Currently there is no support for lines in matrices.

Actually, there's an open PR that may give you what you need.
https://github.com/jgm/texmath/pull/168
Unfortunately it was never completed, even though the changes needed are minor.
