I'm trying to catalog the poll() issues on MacOS X. Things seem fine
with daemontools on my MacBook Pro (10.5.7 Leopard):

Rob Mayhoff reported problems with poll() and named fifos on 10.4 (Tiger):

It seems that even in 10.5, poll() does not work on ttys:

 http://trac.macports.org/ticket/13259
 http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Porting/Conceptual/PortingUnix/compiling/compiling.html

The fifo problem I can see biting supervise. I think supervise should
be happy on 10.5, however? It seems to work for me? Reports of
success? Failure?
