It's spelled TUHS but it's pronounced values of beeta may give rise to dom!

I use the German pronounciation:

  T[ea] [y]OU [h]->[y]OU S

which sounds like "t:u:'s", an abbreviation of "tue es", which
tranlates to the English "do it".  I always thought this is a good
match.

Ah, the days when I had to maintain an AIX box; I always pronounced it 
"aches" (as in "pains").  Mind you, I quite liked SMIT; it was the only 
sane way to admin the thing.
