There is a new pull request by amak79 against master on the void-packages repository

https://github.com/amak79/void-packages rpi-firmware
https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/14774

rpi-firmware: use raspbian as source for wifi and bluetooth firmware
This pull request changes the source for the WiFi and Bluetooth firmware to Raspbian. As the official Raspberry Pi distro, it receives the firmware directly from Cypress and always has the most recent versions. The changes over the current source:

brcmfmac43430-sdio.txt
- Improved brcmfmac BT coexistence parameters

BCM4345C0.hcd
- Restores the LEScan capability
- Enables BT 4.2 functionality

A patch file from https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/14774.patch is attached
