The new version works reliably for some months now for me(tm). There was an upstream problem with missing submodules but it was fixed.

I dropped mathjax from package because it adds +50M to the compresed package (a lot more when extracted) and didn't find an issue without it. Not sure I did the right tests though, but adding [mathjax syntax](https://www.mathjax.org/#demo) worked as before
