* [ISSUE] No sound on qutebrowser with sndio @ 2020-10-20 23:49 xaltsc 2020-10-20 23:58 ` xaltsc ` (4 more replies) 0 siblings, 5 replies; 6+ messages in thread From: xaltsc @ 2020-10-20 23:49 UTC (permalink / raw) To: ml [-- Attachment #1: Type: text/plain, Size: 976 bytes --] New issue by xaltsc on void-packages repository https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/issues/25766 Description: It seems that a recent update has broken sound on qutebrowser with sndio. I had sound on Tuesday until 12:00 CET, and no sound in the evening, probably due to an update as suggest the following issues: https://github.com/qutebrowser/qutebrowser/issues/5815 https://old.reddit.com/r/qutebrowser/comments/iy00k6/suddenly_no_sound_in_qutebrowser/ No other app than qutebrowser seem to be affected. Sound works perfectly in Firefox, Chrome (albeit via ALSA directly) and mpv. ### System * xuname: `Void 5.8.16_1 x86_64 GenuineIntel uptodate rrrmFFFF` * package: qutebrowser-1.14.0_1 sndio-1.7.0_3 ### Expected behavior Play sound content on the internet with sound. ### Actual behavior Content, such as videos, is played, but without sound. ### Steps to reproduce the behavior Open a youtube video on qutebrowser. ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 6+ messages in thread
