Subject: Re: [ISSUE] [CLOSED] pgcli: ImportError on startup
Date: Thu, 14 Oct 2021 03:53:17 +0200	[thread overview]

Closed issue by klardotsh on void-packages repository

https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/issues/33529

Description:
<!-- Don't request update of package. We have a script for that. https://alpha.de.repo.voidlinux.org/void-updates/void-updates.txt . However, a quality pull request may help. -->
### System

* xuname:  `Void 5.12.17_1 x86_64 AuthenticAMD notuptodate rrrmFFFFFFFF`
* package:  `pgcli-3.0.0_3`

This doesn't seem to have been reported upstream, so I'm *guessing* this is a packaging concern, but if I need to reroute this upstream (i.e. there's no known issue with the Void Python stack, perhaps other applications using similar dependencies), just holler.

### Expected behavior

pgcli can connect to a database

### Actual behavior

Immediately crashes at startup with

```
    sys.exit(load_entry_point('pgcli==3.0.0', 'console_scripts', 'pgcli')())
### Steps to reproduce the behavior
Just trying launching `pgcli`, even without a connection string.
