Subject: [ISSUE] pgcli: ImportError on startup
Date: Wed, 13 Oct 2021 21:39:33 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <gh-mailinglist-notifications-41a7ca26-5023-4802-975b-f1789d68868e-void-packages-33529@inbox.vuxu.org> (raw)

New issue by klardotsh on void-packages repository
https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/issues/33529
Description:
<!-- Don't request update of package. We have a script for that. https://alpha.de.repo.voidlinux.org/void-updates/void-updates.txt . However, a quality pull request may help. -->
### System
* xuname: `Void 5.12.17_1 x86_64 AuthenticAMD notuptodate rrrmFFFFFFFF`
* package: `pgcli-3.0.0_3`
This doesn't seem to have been reported upstream, so I'm *guessing* this is a packaging concern, but if I need to reroute this upstream (i.e. there's no known issue with the Void Python stack, perhaps other applications using similar dependencies), just holler.
### Expected behavior
pgcli can connect to a database
### Actual behavior
Immediately crashes at startup with
```
Traceback (most recent call last):
### Steps to reproduce the behavior
Just trying launching `pgcli`, even without a connection string.
