I can not reproduce this. First try fully updating your system, if that doesn't help there is an old libadwaita version somewhere on your system.

Are you sure you don't have a super old version of libadwaita manually installed somewhere like in /usr/local?

What's the version of your installed libadwaita package? `xbps-query -p pkgver libadwaita`

Is it the installed package consistent with what's on the filesystem? `xbps-pkgdb libadwaita`
