Logging from LightDM would prevent values set in `/etc/security/limits.d/` to be used. Adding `session required pam_limits.so` to `/etc/pam.d/lightdm` solved the problem. Could you either add this to the default configuration file shipped by the lightdm package or change some other default configuration so that jack and other packages setting something in `/etc/security/limits.d` can work properly out of the box for LightDM users? Thank you in advance. ### System * xuname: *Void 5.4.25_1 x86_64 GenuineIntel uptodate rF* * package: *lightdm-1.30.0_2* ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 3+ messages in thread
