I have a template ready to go for this, already asked the developer to make a tagged release and he hasn't got around to it yet.

**Edit:** re-asked on Discord and he doesn't want to support versioned releases, so it's unlikely this will be able to be added into Void with the current versioning rules.
If you want to use phantomstyle yourself globally you can simply copy `libphantomstyleplugin.so` to `/usr/lib/qt5/plugins/styles/`, or use my template [here](https://github.com/ScrelliCopter/void-packages/blob/phantomstyle/srcpkgs/phantomstyle/template).

@ScrelliCopter you can try to convince them to tag software only as a way of tagging milestones, no obligation to follow even semver.

Comment:
@ericonr That's essentially what I asked for and he said he's not interested in making arbitrary tags for arbitrary milestones that he's not got no intention of supporting, and suggested that if people wanted tagged releases somebody should fork and maintain those tagged releases downstream.

I'm not sure if such practice is frowned upon by the Void maintainers (as a cheap way of getting around the no untagged/no prerelease rules), but if that's okay then somebody could fork and tag a release for inclusion. My template is already ready to go and would require minimal modification to switch from Git to release tarballs.
