My dm was failing miserably when I tried to turn my computer back on
today. Not sure what, but something broke.

In case this happens to someone else, I simply reinstalled the drivers
"xbps-install -Sf catalyst" All good now.

Turns out libreoffice wouldn't start either... Had to reinstall that too.

Mehbe something bigger happened and I should file a bug report... But I
don't have any good information. If I see anything else broken I'll file.

I know there was an update to xorg-server (one which fixed a known issue
between Nvidia's drivers and trackpad support, which was causing the server
to freeze).
Not sure if this may have contributed to your problem, but I also found
myself reinstalling some packages after the update.
